Micro dancing choreography

Micro dancing choreography, for crowded spaces

Micro dancing choreography is the perfect solution when you’re faced with tight, crowded spaces. No room to move? That’s not a problem—it’s an opportunity to adapt. The issue isn’t actually the lack of space; it’s not adjusting your dancing style to fit the environment.

We’ve all been there: in a festival or marathon, sometimes even in a local milonga. We try to dance in a packed space where every move feels restricted. It can be so frustrating, especially when you want to express yourself fully but feel like there’s no room to breathe. But here’s the thing—dance doesn’t have to be about having endless space around you. It’s about how you use the space that’s available to you. With the right mindset and techniques, even the smallest spaces can be transformed into a stage for your creativity.

In this video, you’ll discover some examples of how to navigate even the most confined areas with ease. Whether you’re in a crowded room, on a crowded dance floor, or just dealing with limited space at home, this micro dancing choreography will show you how to keep your flow and energy intact without bumping into everything (and everyone !) around you.

This choreography focuses on making the most of what you have. It’s not about needing more space—it’s about making the space around you work for you. You’ll learn how to adapt your movements to fit the environment, allowing you to maintain your rhythm, style, and expression no matter how tight the space is.

By watching this video, you’ll gain the tools and confidence to dance freely in any situation. Don’t let the lack of space limit your creativity—turn crowded spaces into your canvas. Watch now and learn how to dance with confidence and creativity, no matter where you are!

Weird feet positions – Tp#90

Weird feet positions

What a weird foot position! Have you ever noticed your feet doing something strange while dancing tango—like turning inward or rolling out to the side? If so, you’re not alone. In fact, these ‘weird’ foot positions, like in-toing and supination, might be affecting your posture. Your balance as well, and even how effortlessly you move across the floor. These subtle misalignments are often easy to overlook, but they can have a significant impact on your overall technique. Tango is all about control, precision, and fluidity of movement. Do not forget that your feet are the foundation of everything you do on the dance floor.

When your feet turn inward or outward in unnatural ways, it can disrupt the alignment of your entire body. It makes it harder to maintain a proper posture. These positions can cause to place unnecessary strain on your hips, or can lead to uneven weight distribution. It would affect balance and range of motion. These issues can make it more difficult to shift weight smoothly or create the sharp, clean movements that tango demands. The misalignment may also prevent you from fully utilizing the power of your feet and legs. It can result in less fluid and more awkward movements on the floor.

The key to overcoming these common foot issues is awareness and proper technique. Understanding why your feet are taking these strange positions is the first step toward correcting them. Often, these issues are the result of muscle imbalances, poor posture habits, or a lack of understanding of how to distribute weight correctly while dancing. In some cases, they may even be linked to the way you stand or walk in everyday life.

In this video, we’ll break down these common foot problems in detail, discussing their causes, how they impact your tango, and most importantly, practical solutions to help you achieve better control and balance. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced dancer, correcting these issues will allow you to move more fluidly. You will feel more grounded, and enjoy a stronger connection with your partner on the dance floor.

Calesita choreography

Calesita choreography

Learn this choreography you can use during calesita

I’m excited to present a series of options for adornos (decorative movements) that you can incorporate during calesitas (planeos). Calesitas are quite fashionable elements in tango lately. This choreography is designed to give you a structured starting point. Remember: you don’t need to use the entire sequence at once. Feel free to pick and choose the movements that resonate with you. Mix and match to create a style that feels natural to you.

Consider this choreography as a foundation from which you can explore and develop your own unique expression. My goal is to help you build a toolkit of moves that you can adapt depending on the music, the partner, or your mood. It’s about understanding the system of the movements, the logic behind them, and how you can apply them creatively in different situations.

To help you master these adornos, I’m breaking down the entire choreography in my series of YouTube Live sessions. During these live streams, I’ll guide you through each movement. Step by step, I will explain not only how to execute them, but also how to add your personal flair. I will give you tips about to make them look more polished and beautiful. We’ll dive into the details of posture, timing, and how to synchronize your movements with the rhythm of the music. But most importantly, I’ll give you the tools to understand the principles behind the movements. Eventually you will be able to break free from the sequence and start improvising with confidence.

If you can’t attend the live sessions, don’t worry! You can still catch up with the recordings at your own pace. All you need to do is become a member, and you’ll have full access to the tutorials. Start practicing with me, and let’s enjoy this journey of dance together!

Happy dancing, and enjoy the choreography!
